Hello,
We added a SonarCloud code analysis as a GitHub Action. I am creating this PR in case there is interest in automating that security scan here (there are even shiny badges).
The code analysis results are summarized in the security/README.md. It seems to be mostly Buffer Overflows risks, I do not know C enough to assess if that is a real problem here and, if that is the case, how to mitigate those vulnerabilities properly.
