New features:
- Hazus Storm Surge option for damage and loss modeling: Enable running simulations with only inundation demand using loss functions (also known as depth-to-damage curves) from the Hazus Flood model. When using this approach, damages are not calculated, and damage outputs cannot be requested in the GI panel.
Changes:
- When running Hazus-style calculations that return loss ratios, both the loss ratio and the absolute losses are shown in the RES panel if the replacement costs are provided for the building.
Fixes:
-
Loss ratios and absolute losses were both shown as loss ratios in the RES panel. This has been fixed and the column headings now appropriately identify the type of output.
-
Losses under combined wind and water demands were imported incorrectly. This has been fixed and the combined losses are now properly loaded from the appropriate Pelicun outputs.
-
Fixed a bug to ensure the output types requested by the user on the GI panel are respected by the backend applications.
-
Example 7 was updated with a new set of default buildings that provide a better illustration of the workflow
-
Example 9 was updated with a new loss_map file that conforms with the current data schema in Pelicun
