1286 Midtown South Mixed Use Plan Special Purpose District Changes

This issue outlines changes to be made to the Special Purpose District data in Zola in response to the Midtown South Mixed Use Plan. The necessary changes have already been made to the agency website and the new special purpose district data is available in the staging Carto account.

Changes

Remove references to these SPDs in Zola:

• Special Mixed Use - Crown Heights West (ID: MX-20)
• Special Garment Center District (ID: GC)

Add the following SPDs in Zola:

• Special Midtown South Mixed Use District (ID: MSX)
• Special Mixed Use - Coney Island (ID: MX-26)
• Special Mixed Use - Wallabout (ID: MX-27)

See specialDistrictCrosswalk in config/environment.js for the code that specifies the name, ID, and borough for SPDs.

Acceptance Criteria

• All references to removed SPDs are removed from Zola codebase
• When a user clicks on one of the new districts, they see the side panel with the following header text for each:
  • "Special Midtown South Mixed Use District"
  • "Special Mixed Use - Coney Island"
  • "Special Mixed Use - Wallabout"
• When a user clicks "Learn more" they are linked to the correct header on the special purpose district page. Inspect headers for the new SPDs on that page to see what ID should be in Zola.
