• XPD Early Early Science Commissioning

  Early Science Commissioning/benchmarking measurements put a reference sample in the experimental station and start collecting the first scientific 2D images (not really a stack yet). Processing can be done off line with a 3rd party software.

• XPD Tech commissioning

  This should correspond to a few Issues that @sameera2004 is going to add. This description will need to be modified accordingly, once those issues are up. Optimize white and mono beams from source to sample. Look at beam footprint and measure beam intensity profile (fluorescence screen with a CCD camera; x-ray eye (direct illumination of a camera; diode; ion chamber). Scan a motor, plot beam intensity vs. motor, fit peak to find maximum, drive motor to the maximum (motor: slits, mirror, mono).
