Installation

Prerequisites

  • Node.js (v16 or higher)
  • npm (v7 or higher) or Yarn
  • MongoDB connection (URI provided or local setup)

Steps to Set Up

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/Cybrite/Project-N.git
    cd Project-N
  2. Install dependencies:

    npm install
    # or
    yarn install
  3. Set up environment variables: Create a .env.local file with the following variables:

    MONGODB_URI=your_mongodb_connection_string
    CLOUDINARY_CLOUD_NAME=your_cloudinary_cloud_name
    CLOUDINARY_API_KEY=your_cloudinary_api_key
    CLOUDINARY_API_SECRET=your_cloudinary_api_secret
    
  4. Run the development server:

    npm run dev
    # or
    yarn dev
  5. Open the application in your browser at http://localhost:3000

Usage

After installation, you can:

  • Explore the healthcare services on the homepage
  • Navigate to specialized services like MindEase or GoldenCare
  • Try the interactive games (Bubble Pop or Bloom Buds)
  • View the team page with member profiles
  • Test the video call interface in the callscreen section
  • Upload new team members through the admin interface

API Endpoints

The project includes the following API endpoints:

  • GET/POST /api/team - Manage team members data
  • GET /api/connection - Test MongoDB connection
  • POST /api/updateStatus - Update document status in MongoDB

Interactive Games

Bubble Pop

Located at /bubble, this game helps improve reflexes and focus by challenging players to pop red bubbles before they float away. Features include:

  • Score tracking and high score saving
  • Reaction time measurement
  • Dynamic difficulty progression

Bloom Buds

Located at /bloom-buds, this cognitive training game challenges players to tap on active buds before they wither. Features include:

  • Performance history tracking
  • Reaction time analytics
  • Visual feedback system
