When a down payment is invoiced and only a partial delivery is made and the amount of down payment is larger than the amount to invoice, Odoo converts the invoice of the partial delivery into a credit note.
This module intercepts the invoice creation to offer a proportional or fixed deduction instead, keeping the document as a regular customer invoice.
