About Me

I'm an Android Engineer with 3+ years of experience building mobile applications across education, logistics, POS, and ride-hailing domains. At Open Learning Exchange, I work primarily in Kotlin and Java, maintaining and scaling the **myPlanet** offline-first learning app — including a large-scale Java-to-Kotlin migration (50,000+ lines) and CouchDB sync performance work. I care about clean architecture, testable code, and apps that hold up in low-connectivity environments.

Beyond Android, I build Node.js/PostgreSQL backends and have shipped full systems with M-Pesa integration and RADIUS-based hotspot management. I hold a KCAA Remote Pilot Licence and have an active interest in DJI SDK development targeting agriculture and infrastructure inspection verticals.

Currently exploring Jetpack Compose and Kotlin Multiplatform.
