minutes:

• we could send an initial email to the listed partners
• we need to consider onboarding additional employees to be able to delegate OEA tasks
• maybe we could structure 'challenges' for students interested in an 'intern' type of experience
• JF reached out to AWS. Waiting for them to discuss internally. Question is whether they want to be involved with the steering committee, and whether they could provide funding.
• we need explicit qualifying criteria for entrance into steering committee or advisory board (committment of time or of eng resources)
• Gene reached out to Google. Will be meeting with them in a couple of weeks

• initial governance in OEA repo
• Maria has agreed to be on governance board
• AWS is interested in having an option for use on OEA on databricks and quicksite
• we should invite AWS rep to be on advisory board
• JF is interested in building more OEA assets around Fabric
• Jethro will reach out to Michael De LaCruz regarding Fabric and overall OEA involvement
• The OEA repo has been officially transferred from https://github.com/microsoft/OpenEduAnalytics to https://github.com/OpenEducationAnalytics/OpenEduAnalytics
