Summary
Polishes wording across repository docs, Wire API Javadocs, internal helper docs, and test comments/fixtures.
Impact
Most changes are wording-only standardisation, including terms such as best-effort, thread-local, thread-safe, high-performance, and low-level. The test cleanup removes unused checked exceptions, uses clearer assertion helpers, and simplifies a few lambdas to method references without changing test intent.
