I'm a Senior Computer Science student at Arizona State University with 1+ years of professional software development experience across two internships working closely with lead engineers on distributed cloud systems.
Iโm inherently driven by a deep curiosity to understand how systems work at a fundamental level. I love testing, experimenting, and exploring, which naturally led me to a passion for science, engineering, and software development.
I aim to leverage the skills Iโve gained at ASU to solve real-world problems through thoughtful, data-driven, and systems oriented solutions.
My work spans projects at the intersection of technology and the environment, including:
- ๐ฅ Wildfire Prediction Models โ applying machine learning to forecast fire risks.
- ๐ Urban Heat Island Visualizations โ using MODIS satellite data to understand climate impacts in cities.
- ๐ฑ iOS Field-Data Apps โ gamified tools that help users track endangered and invasive species, leveraging camera, GPS, and wireless connectivity in modern devices.
- ๐ง IoT Water Management Systems (Axis Meter Solutions) โ developing an IoT mesh network using AWS and AWS IoT Core to monitor and optimize water usage.
This system provides real-time submetering, detects leaks (especially from toilets, which cause ~80% of water losses), and helps both utilities and businesses reduce waste, energy consumption, and environmental impact.
Water saved is water that doesnโt need to be pumped or reprocessed โ saving money, extending equipment life, and conserving a critical resource.
I enjoy creating tools that merge curiosity, technology, and environmental impact.
Iโm always exploring ways to push systems, data, and devices further, to build software that improves both the environment and the people living in it.
