Project Avalon is a dual screen IVI system created in the span of two weeks under the mentorship and supervision of Eng. Karim Zidan from DXC Luxoft.
This Github Organization was created to host the work done for the final project of Android Open Source Project Configuration & Customization taught in Information Technology Institute (ITI)'s 9-Month Professional Training Program -- Embedded Systems Track as a part of the intensive Android Automotive subfield. This project is considered the crowning jewel of Android Automotive as it marks its end and its most challenging milestone.
Project Avalon is shipped with the following features:
- Multi-User Multi-Display (MUMD).
- Car Dashboard: Speedometer, real-time position tracking on map, car vitals and controls.
- Gesture Recognition using TensorflowLite.
- Voice Assistance using VOSK.
- Drowsiness Detection using TensorflowLite & OpenCV.
- UI Light/Dark Mode using Dynamic Runtime Resource Overlays (RROs).
