When I opened the app after updating from the release link, I got asked if I wanted to use the signer, I agreed, then nothing. I suspect it might have failed silently, but I'm not able to retrigger it.

I did try setting up the app after resetting, then it did ask me again, however same result.

Am I missing something, or?

Confirmed this is a real bug (and thanks @auntiehomie for the second report). Root cause found:

The first-run signer prompt (HypersnapSignerPromptModal) is mounted on the feed screen with only visible + onClose — its onDecision callback is never passed. So tapping "Create a Hypersnap signer" only writes the opt-in preference and closes the modal; it does not trigger provisioning. The provision effect in useHypersnapSignerLifecycle only re-runs on [fid, retryNonce] change, neither of which changes on agree, so nothing happens — and there's no toast/spinner, hence the silent failure. (retryProvision() exists in the hook but isn't wired to the prompt.)

There's a secondary feedback gap: the Settings → Farcaster signer toggle shows a success/error toast, but the first-run prompt path shows nothing.

Minimal fix is to wire the prompt's decision to provisioning + add feedback:

Workaround in the meantime: Settings → Farcaster tab → the Hypersnap signer toggle does provision (with feedback).

Leaving this for @CassOnMars to take since the signer flow is auth-sensitive (related: the stale-signer-on-account-switch work).
