• Improved performance of tags loading by caching tags in memory via background job. Repos with many tags (thousands+) no longer cause timeouts when browsing.
• Added performance.tags_online_refresh_max_count config option to control which repos get fresh tags on page load vs using cached tags.
• BREAKING Renamed config option performance.tags_count_refresh_interval to performance.tags_async_refresh_interval. It is now refreshing not just counts but all tags (it was doing that previously but not preserving in the cache). Default changed from 60 to 360 minutes.
• BREAKING Internal routes moved to /__ namespace (e.g. /event-log → /__event-log, /delete-tag → /__delete-tag). Update any reverse proxy rules or bookmarks accordingly.
• Changed default catalog_refresh_interval from 10 to 60 minutes.
• Added Statistics page with background job info (last run time and duration).
• Added Options page to view current configuration settings.
• Fallback to the manifest annotation org.opencontainers.image.created when the image config has a zero creation time. Some tools (e.g. cosign without --record-creation-timestamp) produce images without a config timestamp but may still include it as an annotation. This helps to set up purging of signature tags based on retention.
