Release Note

This is the perceptual model database used in the manuscript: McMillan et al., 2025, Nature Water – "Global patterns in observed hydrologic processes" (in production).

Updates:

• Contains a total of 400 perceptual models in both figure and text form.
• Added the Analysis_data and Analysis_src directories, that supports the analysis implemented in the manuscript
• Fixed bugs

• Include 4 additional models, totaling 400 models
• Include backup file of PostgreSQL dabase

• The database contains only publically available information. For example, text models with copyrights are hidden.
• Currently contains 396 models in Text and Figure formats
