Hi @chrisruk,

Hope you are doing well. Thank you for your amazing work on RPI Build HAT. Really much appreciated. I have a query on a different but related topic and I believe you might be the right person to help.

We want to do a project where we want to control Lego Prime Motor using the Opta PLC. As of now, we found out that Lego Kit uses LPF2 connector and Pin 3/4 are GND/Vcc3.3v. Probably to control the motor we need to work with Pin 1/2 as it mentions PWM.

We were looking for BuildHat Firmware as it might help us to understand how does BuildHat controls the motor and we can possibly replicate it using Opta PLC. However, it seems that the repo only contains the firmware.bin but not the low-level code.

Would it be possible for you to guide us in the right direction? Mainly, we want to control Lego motors using Opta and create a small project where we can show cybersecurity issues.

Let me know your thoughts.
Vijay

FYI, Pybricks firmware is open source. You can find most of the motor control code here: https://github.com/pybricks/pybricks-micropython/tree/master/lib/pbio/src
