• Official Linux Support (#15): Full support for Linux environments featuring smart file path normalization. The application is now distributed in both .AppImage (portable) and .deb (installer) formats.
• Dynamic Port Allocation (#1): The local server engine now automatically detects and re-routes around occupied ports, guaranteeing the application always launches seamlessly without startup conflicts.
• Professional Splash Screen (#7): A brand new, animated Refloow-branded preloader bridges the gap between application launch and UI readiness, providing a premium feel.
• Polished Custom Popups (#8): Clunky native OS alerts have been completely replaced with custom-styled, dark-themed modals that keep users immersed in the application environment.
• Support & About Hub (#4): A dedicated in-app modal providing instant access to the official Refloow website, Discord support server, GitHub repository, and open-source credits. All external links are programmed to securely route to your default OS browser.
• Enhanced UI Rendering: Completely eliminated harsh white screen flashes during initial startup, window toggling, and map zooming.
• Strict Security Hardening: Implemented Subresource Integrity (SRI) cryptographic hashes for external mapping dependencies (Leaflet CSS and JS), mathematically ensuring maximum protection against third-party tampering.

⚠️ Known Issues & Current Limitations

• Format Support: This version remains optimized exclusively for .jpg and .jpeg files.
• Map Connectivity: An active internet connection is still required to load the interactive map tiles.
• macOS Support: We are currently evaluating macOS builds for future deployment.

Welcome to the very first public release of Refloow™ Geo Forensics! This version marks the foundation of a professional-grade, open-source OSINT tool built for investigators, analysts, and digital forensics enthusiasts who need to extract and visualize geospatial data quickly and accurately.

This initial release focuses on providing a stable, privacy-first desktop experience for extracting hidden metadata and reconstructing event timelines.

• Batch EXIF Extraction: High-speed processing of .jpg image sets to pull deep metadata (GPS, Timestamps, Camera Models, etc.).
• Interactive Geospatial Mapping: Automatically plot extracted coordinates onto a built-in map to visualize location clusters.
• Event Timeline Reconstruction: Reorder photos chronologically to trace movements or verify sequences of events.
• Local Processing: Total privacy—all forensic analysis happens locally on your machine with no external data transmission.
