PeMS Data Clearinghouse data-set:

  • Type: Station Hour
  • District: 11
  • SQL table: [pems].[station_hour]
  • Aggregators: [pems].[sp_agg_station_hour_flow] and [pems].[sp_agg_station_hour_speed]
  • Data Loaded: All available 2009-2020 and Jan-March 2022 data-sets

The Station Hour data-set provides estimates of the total traffic flow ([total_flow]) and average speed ([average_speed]) within each hour period within each day.

This data-set can be aggregated over year and month, removing weekends and holidays in the data-set, weighting the aggregations of flow/speed by the number of samples used to compute the flow/speed.
