DCAT-AP HVD 3.0.0 is an annex for DCAT-AP which is compatible with DCAT-AP 3.0.0 and its previous version DCAT-AP 2.1.1. DCAT-AP HVD offers users of DCAT-AP the possibility to adhere to the High-Value Datasets Implementing Regulation (HVD IR) with little additional effort.

The most important changes to version 3.0.0 of the specification are the following:

  • Several sections were updated to:
  • Capture the most up-to-date information for the purpose of reporting on the High-Value Dataset.
  • Extend insights reflecting the obligations under the HVD Implementing Regulation in the DCAT-AP guidelines.
  • Improve usage guidelines.
  • Several alignments with DCAT-AP 3.0.0 were performed, the most important being the inclusion of Dataset Series.
