Error occurs on pressing "Preview Scan". Error at CLI is along the lines of a index mismatch with ScanImage functions listed as originating the error. The Preview Scan never starts. Closing and re-opening the preview window does not help.
This error appears to track a particular user, suggesting it is reproducible not random but we lack a recipe to recreate it. I managed to fix the issue by setting averaging from 1 to 4 then back to 1. So should recreating the issue by opening the preview window for the first time with averaging set to >1 then set to 1 then try pressing preview. Something like that.
