🚀 Getting Started

Prerequisites

  • Node.js (v16 or higher)
  • npm or yarn
  • MongoDB (for backend)
  • Sui CLI (for smart contract deployment)

Installation

  1. Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/your-org/lendx.git
cd lendx
  1. Install frontend dependencies:
npm install
  1. Install backend dependencies:
cd backend
npm install
  1. Set up environment variables:
# Frontend (.env.local)
NEXT_PUBLIC_API_URL=http://localhost:5000
NEXT_PUBLIC_SUI_NETWORK=testnet

# Backend (.env)
PORT=5000
MONGODB_URI=mongodb://localhost:27017/lendx
NODE_ENV=development

Running the Application

  1. Start the backend server:
cd backend
npm run dev
  1. Start the frontend development server:
npm run dev
  1. Open http://localhost:3000 in your browser
