Summary

  • expand the deterministic regression suite to cover rank, CDF, merge, and serialization behaviours
  • introduce Hypothesis-based property tests that stress quantiles, merges, and byte round-trips
  • configure pytest defaults, coverage reporting, and document the test extra dependency set

Testing

  • python -m pytest -q (fails: missing hypothesis in the offline environment)
