  The first release of Rubex (v0.1) will include basic functionality to setup and get a C extension up and running. This will include interfacing C libraries, exception handling, interfacing C structs, Ruby and C methods and calling Ruby functions. This will be an MVP of sorts and will help in releasing Rubex to the world for testing and real world user feedback.
