This is another bugfix release for Jakarta 2017.334. Users are requested to upgrade because it fixes a potential security issue in fdsnws.

Patch8 release with the following fixes:

  • fdsnws

    • Fix potential security issue

  • gui

    • Fix bug that caused a segfault when GUI application are run in TTY mode
      and the database connection is configured in the configuration file

  • scesv

    • Add new script option exportMap that allows to export the current map to
      file. The script has to take ownership of the file. This option is disabled by
      default.
