Mission Mischief - Session Summary 12/9/2025

🎯 What We Accomplished Today

1. Mobile Layout Fixes (iPhone 16 Pro)

  • Fixed bounty hunter page: Crown of Chaos and rank circles were getting cut off
  • Fixed dashboard centering: Changed 100vw to 100%, added proper margins/padding
  • Button styling: Fixed Submission History button text color, corrected how-to-play link path

2. Research Data System (Complete)

  • Created research-data.html: Full-featured page with filters (date, user, mission, platform)
  • Built Lambda function: mission-mischief-research-data reads from DynamoDB
  • API endpoint: https://4q1ybupwm0.execute-api.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/prod/research-data
  • Added link: In bounty hunter Research-Backed Leads section
  • Features: Stats dashboard, sortable table, mobile responsive

3. Admin Panel Integration (Live Data)

  • Updated admin Lambda: Real AWS Cost Explorer, CloudWatch metrics, Bright Data API
  • Live endpoints: Cost tracking, system health, player activity, usage metrics
  • Alert system: SMS/email when costs exceed $75 threshold
  • Data sources: All using real AWS services and existing secrets

4. Infrastructure Status

  • Sunday scraper: Scheduled and ready (cron(0 11 ? * SUN *) = 3:00 AM PST)
  • DynamoDB tables: mission-mischief-research-findings, mission-mischief-bounty-leads (empty until Sunday)
  • All secrets exist: Bright Data credentials, admin phone/email, alert config

🔧 Technical Changes Made

  • core-game-files/app.html: Fixed centering issues, button colors, link paths
  • core-game-files/research-data.html: NEW - Complete research data viewer
  • BUILD_ARTIFACTS/research-data-api.py: NEW - Lambda for research data
  • BUILD_ARTIFACTS/admin-lambda.py: Updated with live data integration

AWS Resources Created/Updated

  • Lambda: mission-mischief-research-data (new)
  • API Gateway: Added /research-data endpoint to existing API
  • Lambda: mission-mischief-admin (updated with live data)
  • Permissions: All properly configured with existing IAM role

📱 Mobile Testing Checklist

iPhone 16 Pro Tests Needed

  1. Dashboard centering: Should be properly centered now
  2. Bounty hunter: Crown and rank circles should be fully visible
  3. Research data page: New page should load and display properly
  4. Admin panel: Should show live data (costs, metrics, etc.)
  5. Button functionality: All buttons should work with proper colors

  • Research data: Will show "No data yet" until Sunday scraper runs
