Online Library Management System

Overview

This is a library management system built using PHP, MySQL, HTML, and CSS. The system allows users to browse, borrow, and track library resources, while admins can manage the resources efficiently.

Installation & Setup

Prerequisites

Ensure you have XAMPP installed to run the PHP and MySQL server. If not, download and install it from:

https://www.apachefriends.org/index.html

Clone the Repository

git clone https://github.com/your-username/online-library-management-system.git
cd online-library-management-system

Setup Database

1. Open XAMPP Control Panel and start Apache and MySQL.
2. Open phpMyAdmin in your browser (http://localhost/phpmyadmin).
3. Create a new database named dbms.
4. Import the provided SQL file (dbms.sql) into the database.

Run the Project

1. Place the project folder in the htdocs directory inside the XAMPP installation folder.
2. Open your browser and navigate to:

   http://localhost/online-library-management-system
   

3. Start managing books and users through the system.
