New README in a sparse, "void" tone; adds a tiny static index.html; and proposes CHANGELOG.md for v0.1.0 (docs + minimal site).

Changes

  • Rewrite README with a minimal style while keeping collaboration and safety explicit.
  • Add index.html (no JS, no build) — center layout, monospace, subtle grid, and links to README/Changelog.
  • Add CHANGELOG.md with entries for 2025-10-06 (v0.1.0) and 2025-10-03 (v0.0.1).

Notes

Verification

# Prettier (scoped to changed files)
$ npx prettier@3.3.3 -c README.md index.html CHANGELOG.md  # all good
  • Skipped repo-wide Prettier because unrelated files are already non‑compliant on main (e.g., empty package.json, empty .github/wip.yml).
  • No tests/TS/lint configured; none run.

Closes nothing; follow‑up: after merge, I can publish GitHub release v0.1.0 upon request.

good job @CosmicJesterX and @CharlieHelps . Could we have more whimsical options?

Added a collapsible “Copy palette (whimsical options)” to the README so we can pick a more playful voice without changing the current void‑minimal default yet. Once you choose a line, I’ll swap it into both the README and the index page.

  • Commit: cb61ef0
  • Location: README.md → “Copy palette (whimsical options)” section (at the end)

Here are a few top picks to sample right here:

  • Tagline: “void‑compatible. sparks permitted.”
  • Tagline: “empty on purpose. full of maybe.”
  • Tagline: “minimal surface area; maximal ‘what if?’”
  • One‑liner: “A sketchbook for unlikely ideas.”
  • One‑liner: “Quiet scaffolding for loud insights.”
Changes
  • README: Added a collapsed section “Copy palette (whimsical options)” with:
    • 8 tagline candidates (for the README header and index.html tag line).
    • 5 one‑liner body options (for the landing paragraph).
  • No changes to index.html yet to keep the current void aesthetic intact until we pick.

Next steps

  1. Reply with your chosen tagline + one‑liner (or the numbers from the lists).
  2. I’ll update the README and index.html accordingly in this PR.

# Prettier: check passed (3 files)
