KSS2 v3.0.5 – Lazarus: Reloaded
This is a small hotfix release to ensure everyone is synced with the latest working configs.
If you're new to the mod, the full content and changelog can be found in the v3.0.4 - The Lazarus Release:
🔗 Release Notes for v3.0.4 (Lazarus)
⚠️ Important:
You do not need to install v3.0.4 separately. That version introduced issues with Parallax Continued.v3.0.5 includes everything from Lazarus, but with updated configs that fix terrain and scatter issues related to Parallax.
❗ DO NOT MIX WITH 3.0.4
If you already installed v3.0.4, please fully remove it before installing this update.
Mixing the two versions can result in broken visuals or Parallax errors.
🛠️ Fixes
- Fixed missing Scatterer shaders on
Grav - Updated
Parallax Continuedconfigs to improve compatibility - Removed Scaled Space support for Alpha Centauri/Nova Kirbani system
Reason: Optional planet toggles caused errors - Balanced Scatterer shader output to ensure better visual alignment
- Fixed
SunAsteroidsandExtraSolarAsteroidssetting – now properly enables asteroid belts
Investigating issue where
FlareOverridesetting does not apply as expected
This version is recommended for all users, especially if you're using Parallax Continued.
KSS2 v3.0.4 – The Lazarus Release
Hi!
After two intense months of work, we're proud to bring you the Lazarus release, a version that rises from the ashes of past mistakes with care, effort, and a lot of heart. We’ve worked hard to fix what needed fixing, clean up where it was due, and build something that feels worth your time again. Huge thanks to the contributors who helped make this happen, your support meant everything ❤️.
To anyone affected by earlier missteps: I want to say sorry once more. We can’t change the past, but we hope this release earns back some trust.
If anything was accidentally missed or something still slipped through, let me know. We’ll fix it.
We know not everyone will forget and that’s okay. We’re here, still building, still learning.
Thanks for sticking around.
Enjoy the mod.
