• 👋 Hi, I’m Swarnendu, currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Genoa in the Department of Naval, Electrical, Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering (DITEN).
• Previously, I was a Doctoral Researcher at Microwave Remote Sensing Lab (MRSLab), CSRE, IITBombay, India. My PhD Thesis has been supervised by Prof.Avik Bhattacharya.
• 👀 My doctoral research was focused mainly on Polarimetric Synthetic Aperture Radar (PolSAR) data and Probabilistic machine learning techniques.
• 🌱 I had worked on the utilisation of process-based regression techniques for retrieving biophysical parameters of crops and forests.
