The 100k default sample left the price heatmap sparse outside the main metro areas now that the webapp renders it as a MEAN price surface. 250k points stay around 3 MB gzipped on the CDN and remain lazy-loaded by the heat mode only.

The 100k default sample left the price heatmap sparse outside the main metro areas now that the webapp renders it as a MEAN price surface (T-DAT-902-Homepedia/webapp#40). 250k points stay around 2.5 MB gzipped on the CDN and remain lazy-loaded by the heat mode only.
Already live: run 2026-07-08 was published with this change (250 000 points verified on the public bucket).
Test plan
uv run pytest(16 passing) — the sampling test pins its ownn=5, unaffected
