Mit meinen Änderungen habe ich die Extension auf das moderne Selenium WebDriver-Protokoll angepasst. Dafür habe ich die beiden Libraries php-webdriver (von Facebook) und php-selenese (zur Umwandlung von Selenese in WebDriver-Befehle, work-in-progress) eingebunden und die Test-Klasse entsprechend angepasst. Die alte Selenium 1-Funktionalität habe ich in meiner Implementierung entfernt, da wir diese für unser Caretaker-Setup nicht benötigen. Ich denke aber, dass es kein großer Aufwand wäre, diese als Alternative hinzuzufügen.
Da diese Funktionalität durch meine Änderungen verloren geht, bin ich nicht beleidigt, wenn der Pull Request nicht angenommen wird. ;) Ich dachte trotzdem, dass es nicht schaden kann, euch auf meine Änderungen aufmerksam zu machen.
