This repository contains a structured volatile organic compound (VOC) dataset generated from GC-MS profiling of aphid species collected from multiple host plants and geographic locations in Saudi Arabia.
The goal of this library is to transform raw chromatographic peak tables into a curated, machine-learning-ready dataset that enables:
- Comparative chemosystematics of aphid species
- Host-associated VOC profiling
- Biomarker discovery
- Feature selection and classification modeling
- Prioritization of unknown compounds for validation
All preprocessing steps — including compound standardization, normalization, matrix construction, and metadata cleaning are fully reproducible through the provided scripts.
