You can create, but not remove them.

Rumors have it that dragging the corners of map boundaries on-top of each other only makes them invisible and doesn't clear them virtually. I think this is what this issue is about.

I have never tested if that is true.

Also it is very difficult to drag&drop corner of a boundary that is very small (1x1 or 2x2 tiles), so some maps end up with this forever:

What would be helpful is a new menu in worldbuilder to list all boundaries that have been added to a map with the ability to remove them from there.
