A simple command line Pokédex application written in Go, powered by the PokéAPI v2.
Explore locations, discover wild Pokémon, catch them, and inspect your own Pokédex all from your terminal.
- Map navigation — explore Pokémon world locations page by page
- Explore — list Pokémon found in a selected area
- Catch — attempt to catch Pokémon based on their base stats
- Pokédex — view all Pokémon you’ve caught so far
- Inspect — view details, stats, and abilities of a caught Pokémon
- Help — see available commands and their usage
- Exit — close the application gracefully

Clone the repository

Build the project
go build -o pokedex
