Mockups

Here are the initial mockups of the key screens.

Main menu

The main menu contains a logo, and links to Play (Game choice screen), Settings, High Scores and About.

Game choice

If the user has a web connection, they can choose from the top 10 trending keywords in their locale. Without a web connection we'd probably warn the user and invoke a practice mode - gameplay not as varied or tough, and the high scores aren't saved.

In game

The in game screen will need to display the current score, which keyword/hashtag you are "fighting" against, and of course the main canvas with the balls and player sprite. More below.

Game paused

The player can tap the screen to pause the game, this brings up a menu and fades out the game behind.

Game over

Shows what the player scored, against what keyword, and offers options to Play again (game selection), main menu and to share the score - tweets out the player's score, a link to get the game, and a hashtag, because that's very meta.

High scores

Best scores the player has achieved, against which keywords. Future versions might indicate the player's position on a global scoreboard.

About

Company name, team members etc.

Settings

Options for turning the music off, varying the speed/difficulty of the game, and explains how to play.
