I am also looking for this change to upgrade ruby versions, is there a plan to merge this in and release a new version with it? |

It would be greatly appreciated if this could be merged and a release done. Without it, we can't upgrade to Ruby 3.3, since that version completely removes the |

File.exists?is deprecated in favor ofFile.exist?. This change is required for compatibility with Ruby 3.2
