Temporal Calibration (using FCal in PLUS)

Temporal calibration in fCal measures the device specific time offset difference automatically. It requires the tracked ultrasound probe (e.g. with the SureTrack attached) and a water tank.

Open fCal.exe and use the “fCal: Ultrasonix US + StealthLinkTracker (Reference, Stylus, SureTrack2)” config file.

Select temporal calibration.

Ensure that the video stream is the fixed stream and that the moving stream is the tracked probe stream.

When starting temporal calibration, move the probe up and down in the tank You can check the results of the temporal calibration by selecting the “show plots” option Update the offset value in the Plus Server config file "PlusServer: Medtronic StealthLink tracker + Ultrasonix".
