ODGS is an open-source, Apache 2.0 JSON protocol (pip install odgs / npm install odgs) that turns data-governance policy — metric definitions, validation rules, and a business ontology graph — into mechanically executable constraints. ODGS is on a path toward formal standardization. Adds three schemas, matched by a project-specific extension to avoid collision with generic filenames: - odgs-standard-metrics.json (*.odgs-metrics.json) - odgs-data-rules.json (*.odgs-rules.json) - odgs-ontology-graph.json (*.odgs-ontology.json) Each includes positive and negative test fixtures and passes 'node cli.js check --schema-name=<name>' (pre-checks + Ajv strict mode) individually.
