Two kickoff sessions were held on 2026-09-02, one Atlantic-friendly and one Pacific-friendly, to accommodate participant time zones. Both ran the same agenda, so they are consolidated into a single record; points raised in only one session are attributed to that session. The group will meet as a single weekly session going forward. Also adds the DWG README (charter, chairs, target completion, deliverable tracker) and registers the group in the Shopping TC's DWG index. Per the group's own decision on 2026-09-02, no raw transcripts, recordings or private working documents are linked from these minutes.
Replace names inferred from AI-transcribed audio with the roster approved in ucp#682, and attribute the anonymized Pacific attendee. - Yunfat Hon (Shopline), not the name inferred from an email local-part. - Greg Smith (Google) attended the Pacific session and owns the meeting slot action item; Alex Jansen attended Atlantic only.
- Participants span many time zones, not two; two sessions were a scheduling accommodation, not the extent of the spread. - Record that many proposed decisions already touch the items being raised, and that divergent thinking is welcomed up front so the group absorbs the problem space before narrowing scope.
Raised after the sessions rather than during them; flagged inline so the record does not imply it was agreed in the meeting.

Sanitization. Per the group's own 2026-09-02 decision that only sanitized minutes are published: no participant emails, transcript links, timestamp deep-links, calendar links, or links to the private working document. Participants appear as
Name (Org).Attendance is inferred from who is evidenced participating in each session's notes, rather than from the calendar invite list — so anyone who attended silently may be missing. Names and organizations follow the approved member roster rather than the AI notes' transcription of spoken names. Corrections welcome inline.
