New Features:
• Copy/Paste
Probably the most requested feature added to VCC. You can now Copy from the VCC screen to the PC clipboard or Paste to the VCC screen from the PC clipboard just as if you typed the data in by hand! (see the “Edit” menu section for details)
• Persistent Filepaths
VCC will now remember all your ROM, DLL, Disk, VHD, Cassette, & Cart/Pak directories individually. No more browsing from one directory to another each time you load a different item. This is a change I personally have wanted for quite a few years! All current filepaths are save to the configuration file and remembered each time you run VCC.
• Custom Config Save/Load
In solving the problem users were having on Windows 8 & above with having to use “Administrator’s Permission” to make VCC properly save the Config file, we broke the ability to have more than one VCC installation with different configurations. The new Save/Load Config menu has been activated allowing you to save custom configurations and load any configuration you want after starting VCC. (See “Menus/File/Save Config” & “Menus/File/Load Config” for details)
• Load Custom Config from Cmd Line
After several requests, we have added the ability to load a custom configuration from the command line in a Windows Command box. (see “Starting VCC” at the end of the previous “Installation” section)
• Flip Artifact Colors
VCC now allows you to “Flip” the artifact colors on the PMODE graphics screens to the alternate color set without interrupting the emulation. Just click “Configuration/Flip Artifact Colors” on the menu bar and the alternate color set will be activated without interrupting your program.
• .Slightly Better Composite Palettes
The composite palettes have been altered to be a little better, but still not correct.
• Improved VCC Manual
I have reorganized this manual a little better to make navigation easier. I also added the much requested “Quick Start Guide”.
