Only Startup.blend is changed.

🇬🇧 English version
Differences from the original project

The original project supports 5 languages for labels (English, Latin, French, Spanish, Portuguese). This version adds Simplified Chinese label support, now supporting 6 languages in total.

In the original z-anatomy.py file, I added Noto Sans CJK SC as the Chinese font. However, since the system can still display Chinese characters without the font file, and for the sake of lightweight distribution, I did not include the corresponding font file.

In line 1514 of the original z-anatomy.py file, the blf.size() function was incompatible with the latest version of Blender. This has been fixed.

Changed the label “中國人” (which means “Chinese person”) to “中文” (which means “Chinese language”).

Only Startup.blend is changed.

Thank you, @Dean-Song-1 ,
The lexicon and its transaltions are gathered in this spreadsheet.
Would you like to paste your translations inside it? It could then probably be added in the app as well.

Hi! Thank you for your reply.
I’m currently in China and unable to access Google Docs due to network restrictions.
Could I send you my Chinese translations directly?
You can then add them to the spreadsheet at your convenience.
Thanks a lot!

Thank you for posting the term table.
Just to make sure I understand correctly:
Are you asking me to add my Simplified Chinese translations as a new column (e.g., “简体中文”) and match them to the corresponding TA2ID rows?

Thank you for your reply. I’m still a little confused.
I noticed that the term table you shared contains 512 entries.
The translation dictionary I sent earlier (the file 翻译结果汇总.txt, which contains all my Chinese translations on this project) has 7284 entries.
After a quick check, the first 512 entries in my dictionary appear to correspond one-to-one with the 512 entries in your table, in the same order.

Thank you for your understanding and willingness to help with the integration.

My Chinese name is 宋德恩 (Dean Song). I am a medical student in China. Here is my public GitHub profile: https://github.com/Dean-Song-1/

To be honest about my translation method: I extracted the translation entries from the startup.blend file and asked DeepSeek, an AI language model, to generate precise terminology as the Simplified Chinese translation results. After that, I manually reviewed a sample of the translations and found no errors. However, since the translation was generated with the assistance of AI, I would recommend that users of this version always refer to authoritative anatomy terminology sources when in doubt.

Thank you again for considering my contribution.

By the way, I’m really curious – how did the other language translations (like French, Spanish, Persian, etc.) get done?
Was there an official term table or glossary to begin with? Or did someone really go through all 7000+ terms one by one? 😄
