### Website & Design Updates

* Dennis welcomed attendees and provided an overview of recent design activities across the Akash ecosystem.
* The website continues to receive regular improvements through the Website Working Group, with ongoing development tracked publicly on GitHub.
* Joe Deng is leading several new website initiatives that will be shared with the community as they progress.
* Early planning is also underway for updates to the Akash ML website, the Home Node website, and several new website pages currently in the wireframing stage.

### Akash Accelerate

* A significant portion of the design team's effort is now focused on planning **Akash Accelerate**.
* Work is underway to finalize the event location, dates, venue, speakers, and branding.
* The Design SIG will support all creative assets, including the event website, social media graphics, presentations, venue branding, signage, merchandise, and promotional materials.

### Console Product Updates

* Josh shared that the redesigned Console onboarding experience was launched the previous week following multiple rounds of design reviews and user testing.
* Users can now sign in using email and a passcode, simplifying account access.
* The onboarding flow has been streamlined to reduce friction for new users.
* A new **Bid Pre-Check** feature now displays the number of potential providers while users configure their deployment, helping them avoid configurations that are unlikely to receive bids.
* The deployment workflow has been simplified into a more seamless create, confirm, and deploy experience.

### User Feedback & Future Plans

* Early user feedback and product metrics have been positive since the onboarding redesign launched.
* Based on the initial results, the team plans to adopt a similar onboarding experience for Akash ML after additional validation.
* Dennis noted that more product improvements are expected over the coming months and praised the updated user experience.
* Community members were encouraged to provide feedback through Discord or the SIG Design channel.

**00:10 Dennis Lelic:** Hey everybody, welcome to today's SIG design meeting. SIG design meetings are meetings where we discuss everything design-related and even some marketing touchpoints and product touchpoints as well. These meetings happen on a bimonthly basis. Anyone who's listening to the recording of this session, feel free to join our next meeting; you can find those in our community calendar.

**00:45 Dennis Lelic:** Just a couple of updates. There were a number of improvements on the website over the past few weeks and months. Those of you who've been attending working group meetings for the website are familiar with it, so I wouldn't go into details because that's a separate working group. You can track the issues and all the updates in GitHub because the website is open to everyone.

**01:28 Dennis Lelic:** There are going to be some new initiatives on the website as well. Joe, the community manager, is taking ownership of these initiatives and helping move them forward. Hopefully, he'll share some of the stuff that he's been working on soon.

**01:54 Dennis Lelic:** There's as well a couple of upcoming initiatives that are currently being ideated. There's going to be some updates on the Akash ML website and the Akash home node website. There are a couple of new website pages that are in the wireframing process at the moment. Hopefully, in our next meeting, we can share more.

**02:23 Dennis Lelic:** Another thing that's going to take at least a chunk of my resources is going to be Akash Accelerate. We're finalizing the dates, the venue, the city, and the speaker selection. Along with that, we're going to have plenty of design touchpoints, from the web page, social media assets, venue branding, signage, presentations, merch, and giveaways—pretty much everything that we did last year and the year before.

**03:01 Dennis Lelic:** So those are like high-level updates. I'm sure I missed a bunch, but I just want to mention the bigger chunks of these. I think Josh has an update on the product side.

**03:22 Josh:** Yep. Thanks, Dennis. Regarding console, late last week, we went live with our new onboarding flow. Previously, we had spoken about some of the data indicators that were showing us areas where we could improve the experience, hopefully increase activation and retention. After several design reviews and iterations, we finally went live with that last week.

**03:51 Josh:** I can give a real quick look at what that might look like for new users. We've got a new layout to the sign-in page that many of you may have experienced, but now there are a couple of different login opportunities. We have this new ability to log in via email alone with a passcode, simplifying that.

**04:25 Josh:** We streamlined the onboarding flow, and now the big change that you'll see is an update to the deployment configuration page. One of the main pain points we were hearing from the community was users would configure a deployment and then go to request bids, and maybe the number of providers weren't sufficient or they weren't getting bids at all, and there was no real feedback loop mechanism.

**04:48 Josh:** The team worked hard to implement what we call our bid pre-check. As a user starts to configure their SDL and make different modifications, you'll see a live update of the potential providers that may submit bids for that workload. After we request those bids, they'll start to come in, and users can select those. This way you're not really going back and forth between creating a bid and modification; we can do it all in a streamlined, singular step: create your deployment, confirm, and continue.

**05:24 Josh:** We are actively tracking the different metrics around that. So far, the community feedback and user testing we've done has been really positive. So much so that we're looking to adopt the onboarding experience for Akash ML. We've updated the designs at Akash ML in preparation for that. We want to continue to monitor the data just to confirm any hypothesis before we make any drastic changes, but things at this point after a few days are looking quite positive. Those are the big updates right now, outside of the updates Dennis mentioned regarding the websites and touchpoints.
