I usually work where marketing, software and operations overlap.

Build systems that do useful work, expose clear controls and survive contact with production.
A lot of my work follows the same principles:
Own the workflow. Avoid unnecessary dependencies when the core capability can live in your own stack.
Agents need tools, not just prompts. Reliable AI systems need APIs, permissions, state, observability and guardrails.
Human-in-the-loop is a feature. Automation should increase leverage without hiding consequential actions.
Marketing software should connect to business outcomes. Clicks, traffic and impressions matter less when they cannot be connected to leads, customers and revenue.
Ship, observe, improve. Production teaches faster than endless architecture diagrams.
