The
--colorswitch acceptsalways,autoandnever.--color=alwaysis useful when one wants to keep color output in a redirection. Notably: in GitHub actions?The default value is
auto, which has the same behaviour as before without the--no-colorswitch.Disabling colors is done with the
nevervalue. It also follows theNO_COLORenvironment variable, like before, but thealwaysvalue has priority.The
