As you know
Engineering Enablementteam maintains and supports gds-cli.We recently found out users tend to use the gov.uk docs when they setup it up, but sadly this means they are using out-of-date documentation.
EE can only maintain one source of documentation, and we think the gds-cli repo is the best place. We revamped the README a while ago to be more user-friendly, and also added a troubleshooting section to help new users. 99% of the support requests we receive are already covered in the docs.
This change would help reduce our support burden a bit, by making sure every user is using the supported documentation. We encourage everyone to contribute.
Please feel free to reach out to us on slack for further discussion.
