Where to get binary packages for various systems:

Ubuntu:

Isaac Connor maintains two PPA's for Ubuntu as follows:

ppa:iconnor/zoneminder

This PPA contains packages of ZoneMinder releases. By adding this PPA to your system, you will get the latest released version of ZoneMinder. It is recommended to start by installing the zoneminder that comes with your Ubuntu distro (1.25 at the time of this writing) and then add the PPA and then apt-get dist-upgrade. This is the recommended method.

ppa:iconnor/zoneminder-master

This PPA contains builds of our master branch on github. Packages will be added when Isaac feels like it, which will generally be when there is a bug to test a fix on. These packages come with no guarantees. Use at your own risk.
