This application can update any field of any object on multiple records. Eg. Lets say you want to update status of multiple cases at a time or you want to update account of multiple contacts. Then you can use this this application.
Installation guide If you want to create tab of MassUpdator component and see toastmessage in lex. Then uncomment line 47 to 63 in /MassUpdaterRepository/src/aura/ObjectListComponent/ObjectListComponentHelper.js file. To use this application use MassUpdator component in Application/ tab/ appbuilder.
How to use it?
- Select an object (from 'Select an object' picklist)
- Then fields of that object will be displayed as multiselect picklist on right hand side.('Select fields to display')
- Select a field you want to update ('Select a Field')
- Enter field new field value.
- Click on proceed.
- Records of selected object will be displayed.
- You can type in some text 'Find a' textbox. record containing that word will be displayed.
