I'm Andrei Ionescu [ˈændreɪ joˈnesku], a software engineer specializing in distributed systems and data lakes.

Work

I work for Adobe where I contribute to the Adobe Experience Platform and to be more precise I'm mainly contributing to the Ingestion and Data Lake projects.

Open Source

I am contributing to Hyperspace, Apahce Iceberg, Delta-RS and more recently to Polars.

Personal

I love playing stringed instruments like bass guitar, electric guitar and mandolin. I'm regularly playing with my band named Glory Band.
