Hey,

this is not an issue, only some info.

I have a UDM Pro and a 1GBit connection (German Telekom) limited at around 900Mbits.
Also there it helped me a lot.
E.g. a single wget download / scp transfer got up from 30-70 MB/s to around 90-100MB/s.

Maybe it is due to German Telekom PPPoE has VLAN tagging.

Sounds like an Ethernet port limitation here. A GbE port can only get you up to 931 Mbps. Only a 2.5 GbE port can get you beyond 1000 Mbps.

The ISP would typically give more headroom to avoid/reduce complaints. For a 1 Gbps contract, you should typically get 1100 Mbps or even up to 1300 Mbps.

yes, sure the ethernet port could also be the limit.

But the fiber connection is defined by Telekom as that:
Download:
Max: 1000 MBit
Typical: 850 MBit
Min: 700 MBit

So no headroom for complains ;)

Upload is all defined as 500 MBit and I get 560 MBit there, so maybe i could get a bit more with 2.5 GBit port.##
