Yes, I know that at least when I last built the package (which was quite a while ago) the flutter-bloc package was not on the newest versions. |

Okay, then I would keep this one on hold until there was a further investigation about the compatibility with the new versions. The question is, do you have some time in the near future to do this or are you busy with your other tasks? |

While I was setting up the project on my machine I realized that some dependencies are outdated.
If this is by intention then please ignore this PR and close it.
Tests are still passing with upgraded dependencies.
The app did also still build and I was able to run it, but I'm not familiar with the functionality, so you might want to double check it to ensure nothing breaks.
