did Docker for solve the file sharing performance problems yet?
... last time it tried it was super slow because of the missing nfs-sync.

Not sure. In this case it might make sense to not use Docker for Mac.

@andreaskoch & @nickw108 - You probably already know, but Docker for Mac addressed the file sharing issue and feels almost completely native to OS X.
